Dominic Bélanger is a member of the Ordre des pharmaciens du Québec. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Université Laval. Since 2013, Mr. Bélanger has served as Director of Pharmaceutical Affairs and Drugs within the Quebec Department of Health and Social Services. He played a central role in the development of several bills that advanced both the pharmacy profession (Bills 41, 31 and 67) and access to drugs in Quebec. In this regard, he provides leadership in drug‑price negotiations to support the listing of drugs covered under the Public Prescription Drug Insurance Plan. Among his accomplishments is Quebec’s integration into the pan‑Canadian Pharmaceutical Alliance. He represents Quebec on the Alliance’s Board of Directors.
