Pam Barnes has been the Director of Pharmaceutical Services with the Department of Health and Community Services, Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, since 2021. Since joining the Newfoundland government in 1990, Pam has held a variety of financial and policy focused positions across many departments. Pam moved to Health and Community Services in 1999 as a financial analyst and has since taken progressively responsible management roles throughout the department, continuing to build a strong expertise in government policy and health sector issues. Pam holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree and a Master of Business Administration from Memorial University of Newfoundland.
