We’re exploring ways to expand the early negotiation process (ENP), and we want to hear from you.  

The ENP can help shorten public coverage timelines by allowing drug pricing negotiations to begin before final health technology assessment reimbursement recommendations have been issued. Expanding this process supports timely and earlier drug coverage for people in Canada. 

Through this public consultation, we are seeking input on 2 potential options for expansion. Feedback from people with lived experience, clinicians, manufacturers, and other partners will inform the expansion.
